Welcome to the homepage of the North Yorkshire and South Durham District Association of the National Vegetable Society
The National Vegetable Society was formed in 1961 with the aim of promoting and encouraging the growing of quality vegetables by providing expert help and advice. For administration purposes the National Vegetable Society is separated into regional branches, these are further sub-divided into smaller geographical areas called District Associations. The NYASDDA covers an area delineated by a line drawn horizontally across the country South of the city of Durham to a line drawn horizontally South of the city of Ripon.
